Academic Year & Semesters

The Music Love Academy academic year is organized into three instructional terms:

• Fall Semester: September – January
• Winter/Spring Semester: January – June
• Summer Semester: June – August 

Scheduled Academy Breaks & Holidays

Music Love Academy generally follows the Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) calendar for the following designated breaks and holidays:

• Thanksgiving Break
• Two-Week Winter Break
• One-Week Spring Break
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day (July 4)
• Labor Day

These scheduled Academy breaks and holidays are incorporated into the annual instructional calendar and are already accounted for in the flat monthly tuition structure. Therefore, tuition remains the same regardless of the number of scheduled lessons or Academy closures within a particular month.

Music Love Academy does not observe all FCPS holidays, student holidays, or teacher workdays. Families should refer to the official Music Love Academy Academic Calendar for specific instructional dates, scheduled closures, and holidays each academic year.

Additional closures or schedule adjustments, when necessary, will be communicated to families in advance whenever possible.
