Ages: 5–12 years old Length: 8 weeks Session Dates: October 7–December 2, 2026 No Class: November 25 (Thanksgiving break) Minimum Enrollment: 4 students required to run the class Music Theater Lab is an 8-week introduction to musical theatre where children explore singing, acting, movement, and storytelling in a creative, supportive environment. Through theatre games, age-appropriate songs, simple choreography, and scene work, students discover how performers bring stories and characters to life. Activities are adapted to students’ ages and experience levels, giving beginners opportunities to learn, participate, and grow. Throughout the session, students will: Explore healthy singing habits and expressive vocal techniques Bring characters to life through acting and improvisation Learn simple choreography, rhythm, and stage movement Build confidence speaking and performing in front of others Practice teamwork through songs, scenes, and ensemble activities Make new friends while developing creativity and self-expression Whether your child loves the spotlight or is just beginning to find their voice, Music Theater Lab offers a welcoming place to explore, connect, and experience the joy of musical theatre. No previous experience needed—just curiosity and imagination!
