🎹 Piano Foundations: Beginner Keys (Ages 4–5) Ages: 4–5 Years Old Length: 13 Weeks Semester: September 12 – December 12, 2026 Class Length: 45 Minutes No Class: Thanksgiving Week (November 28–29, 2026) Minimum Enrollment: 4 students required to run the class. Our Piano Foundations: Beginner Keys class is a 13-week program consisting of 45-minute weekly lessons designed specifically for young beginners who are ready to take their first steps into the world of piano. Through fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities, students will learn proper hand position, basic piano technique, rhythm, note reading, finger numbers, keyboard geography, and simple melodies while building confidence, coordination, and a lifelong love for music. Interactive games, movement, singing, and creative musical activities help reinforce new concepts in an encouraging and supportive group environment. This class is carefully designed to nurture each child's musical curiosity while developing listening skills, fine motor coordination, creativity, and the foundational skills needed for future piano study. After successfully completing the Level 1 Fall Session, students will have the opportunity to continue into the Level 2 Spring Session, where they will build upon their skills by learning new notes, rhythms, musical patterns, and more challenging songs while continuing to develop confidence at the piano. Please note: There will be no class during Thanksgiving week. That week is not included in the 13-week program. Group classes do not offer makeup lessons for missed classes. All instruments are provided for use during class. Classes will run with a minimum of 4 students. If enrollment is low, age groups may be combined based on age and skill level.
